Now it's time for the hard stuff!
First separate the lower section of the seat from the top. To do this you remove 2 bolts on each side of the seat.
Now you need to remove the frame from the cushion. There are 2 big torx bolts and 2 small torx bolts on each side.
There is not much holding the metal plate to the cushion. There are two metal clips and some plastic trim pieces. Pry these off with a small screwdriver and lift off the metal pan.
To remove the skin you need to pull up the covers and find the six hog rings.
Make a mental note on where and how they are installed as you will need to replace them in the same spots!
Once the skin is off you can decide how to fix pad. You can either replace the whole pad (4718524) for $85 or solder in a jumper wire across the break.
