Removing the panel is extremely easy. I think I could do it in 30 seconds if I had a power screwdriver!
Now that the panel is off you can get an idea of what is happening.
To get the window mechanism out you need to get the window all the way down.
This can be difficult if you cannot move the window!
If you are in this situation you must remove the bolts holding the mechanism onto the door and then remove the bolts holding the motor to the mechanism.
Watch the window as it will drop fast after the motor is removed!
Now that the mechanism is lowered, you can unbolt the window from the mechanism.
There are only two screws holding it on. Remove these and then either remove the window from the door or just prop it up somehow.
Now remove the mechanism by lifting up on the lower part first and lift it out. The top will follow it out!
